Meditating on God's Love: A Reflection on His Faithfulness

Sometimes, I sit in awe when I think about all that God has done for me, especially considering the times in my life when I didn’t deserve His grace. It’s humbling to realize how faithful and loving He’s been, even when I’ve fallen short. I often find myself asking, Who is this God?

I’ve had moments where I felt unworthy of His love, yet He never left my side. No matter how far I strayed, He gently brought me back. His love isn’t about earning it—it’s about who He is. His faithfulness is something I can always count on, even when I don’t deserve it.

In the quiet moments, when I stop to reflect, I’m reminded that God’s love is constant. It doesn’t depend on my perfection. He’s always been with me—through the highs and the lows—and His love never wavers.

Who is this God? He is the One who loves unconditionally, who knows me, loves me, and never gives up on me. His love is a gift, and I’ll spend my life in gratitude for it. As I meditate on this truth, I find peace and rest, knowing His love will never fail me.

The late Father Peter Mongeon always told me to pray the Our Father slowly and prayerfully. So I challenge you all to take a few minutes to sit quietly, reflect on God’s love for you, and pray the Our Father slowly and prayerfully.

Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done,
on earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.
